ACS is a Paris-based wholesale broker, on the travel insurance market since 1979, specialising in student insurance since 1986 and then in expatriates since 2005; the acquisition of FAC International in 2020 rounded out its range. Depending on the plan, the risk is carried by different partners, including the mutual insurer MGEN for Globe Traveller.
Four product families structure the offer: Globe PVT and its lighter version Globe PVT Light (excluding Canada) for working holidays, Globe Partner for travellers and interns under 40 for up to 12 months, and Globe Traveller, the most complete plan, open up to age 65 with a three-month limit in North America after age 56.
A point often overlooked: the Globe PVT plans cover pregnancy up to €5,000 reimbursed at 90%, contrary to the common assumption that Working Holiday Visa contracts always exclude maternity. In exchange, they must be taken out before departure, with no option to do so once already on the ground, only Globe Partner and Globe Traveller accept subscription after departure, with an 8-day waiting period. Dangerous sports and two-wheelers over 125cc remain excluded across the whole range.
